Egberts Engineering works on a variety of demolition projects varying from removal of several buildings on a site to removal of a single building in a constricted space. Some previous projects include:
2 O’Connor Dr. Toronto
Removal of 6 buildings, 2 and 3 stories high which are attached to a historic residence which will remain. Buildings are wood and masonry and also two-way concrete slab construction.
Stouffville District High School
Demolition of two story High School approx 50 yrs old; combination of steel frame and masonry and wood / steel and masonry framed building, including long span gymnasium.
Guildwood Inn Demoltion, Scarborough
Demolition of a 7 story concrete hotel located beside the original historic Guild Inn

Removal included separation of the two story link between the hotel and the Inn, without damaging the Inn.
700 Burnhamthorpe, Mississauga - Loading Dock Demolition
Loading dock roof damaged by fire – removal of steel framed roof and columns

550 King Street West, Brockville
Demolition of large site including numerous buildings formerly used for electric cable manufacturing. Building areas were defined as 19 different “buildings”. Removals included long span roof trusses, masonry walls, and a 100 ft brick chimney, followed by an extensive network of concrete tunnels.
MTO Storage Building
Precast concrete, steel and masonry one story maintenance buildings at 401 and Keele Street, Toronto
Jock Harty Arena – Queens University, Kingston
Large Arena Building, with Long span roof girders(approx 140 ft and 15 tons each), and an underground parking garage below the arena; located within 1” of a functioning swimming pool and recreation centre which remained in operation during the demolition. Removal s included cast-in-place concrete bleechers and cast-in-place concrete ground floor over the parking garage.
